The doctor will review the following documents prior to your consult:

1. Your screening laboratory results which must have been done in the past 3 months. If you do not have them, we can draw these at our clinic prior to your appointment with the doctor.
   • Complete metabolic profile with electrolytes (CMP)
   • Complete blood count (CBC) with differential
   • Red Blood Cell G6PD (must be normal)
   • Hemoglobin A1c
2. Medical records which contains the following information:
   • Tumor type and staging, including operative reports, pathology reports, special procedure reports, and other staging information.
   • Appropriate tumor markers, CT, MRI, PET scans, bone scans, and x-ray imaging.
   • Prior cancer treatments, the patient’s response to each treatment type, including the effects.

During your visit, the following will be done:

1. Full set of vitals which include weight, blood pressure, pulse, respirations, oxygen saturation, fingerstick glucose, and temperature. 
2. Review of your medical history, social history, current medications, and supplements.
3. Discussion on your reasons for seeking High Dose IV Vitamin C infusions. 
4. Discussion on goals and expectations.
5. A discussion on the risks, benefits, and alternatives of HDVC. 
6. Advice on protocol to be initiated for your particular needs (treatment, adjunctive, or maintenance).
