About Quench Hydrate

Sarit Hovav MD Physician and owner of Quench Hydrate

Meet Sarit Hovav, M.D., FAPA

Dr. Sarit Hovav started her life in clinical medicine in Internal Medicine. She loved being with patients and listening to their stories, but she was disheartened when she realized the majority of her time was spent in review of abnormal lab values, abnormal imaging studies, and prescribing medication for chronic disease.

Consequently, she left clinical medicine and took a role in research at UCLA’s Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior where she ran clinical trials and worked at the Anxiety Disorder Clinic.  This fueled her passion for helping the very individualized care needed in psychiatric patients, and then she went back to do a residency in Psychiatry. Afterwards she received the status of Diplomate from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology when she became Board Certified.

After being the Medical Director of Behavioral Health at a hospital, she opened her own private practice, where she continues to work.

While she’s passionate about psychiatry, she has always advocated with patients, when appropriate, the combination of traditional and complementary medicine. She emphatically believes that one cannot replace the other, and together, they make a fantastic team.

Further training in functional and hormone medicine has given her the motivation to open a Wellness Clinic & MedSpa in Henderson, NV – the location she has been wanting to be in for over a decade.

Dr, Hovav is a well published author in several highly ranked peer-reviewed medical journals, and is an esteemed physician and key-opinion leader for several companies.

Dr. Hovav is a mom to two kids, 17 and 20. Her hobby is dancing and competing in International Latin (Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba, Paso Doble, Jive). Indeed, her strong work ethic has helped her receive numerous 1st and 2nd places at various competitions with her pro-partner.

Meet Amanda Harrigan, RN

Amanda has spent most of her career working in the acute care setting during the height of the COVID pandemic. She became discouraged when she saw the acute healthcare system failing patients with chronic health conditions. This sparked her interest in preventative healthcare and functional medicine.

In 2022, she was diagnosed with her own chronic illness which pushed her to dive even further into functional medicine. Amanda is passionate about helping her patients optimize their health and wellness now in order to prevent chronic disease from occurring, but also to exemplify that it’s never too late to prioritize your health. This led her to Quench Hydrate, where she is able to help her patients with Dr. Hovav by practicing medicine she truly believes in. In her free time, Amanda loves to spend time outdoors and enjoys going to the gym or yoga.
